Our policies

At The Hair Lab we strive to provide you with the highest level of service. We respect your time and ours and ask you to review our policies to have a relaxed and satisfactory experience every time you visit us.

Face Masks
Face masks are optional. Clients, visitors and anyone entering the salon are not required to wear a face mask.

Appointments
We work only by appointment and require a deposit for every service. This deposit will be used toward your service(s) on the day of your appointment.

Late Arrivals
We ask you to arrive on time to your appointment. If you are expecting to be late to your appointment, we would appreciate a courtesy call or text to let us know you are on your way. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and you lose all of your deposit. We will require a new deposit to reschedule.

Cancellations, Reschedules and No-shows
Cancellations made less than 72 hrs before your appointment time will result in you loosing all your deposit, no exceptions.
Reschedules must be requested 72 hrs or more before your appointment time in order to not lose your deposit.
No-shows lose all your deposit.
Deposit refunds must be requested 72 hrs or more before your appointment time in order to receive a full refund.

Service Schedule
At The Hair Lab we try to be as prompt and efficient with our scheduling as possible, sometimes services require more time than expected. We will try to give you a courtesy call or text when a stylist is running late, but in some cases we cannot foresee the issue, please be aware that each guest has different needs and in some cases the stylist might be running late. We will try to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Parking
Our location offers plenty of free parking 7 days a week. Weekends are the busiest days so we recommend arriving at least 15-minutes prior to your appointment to allow enough time to park. Additional street parking is available on Village Center Drive.

Child Safety
Due to the set-up of our establishment and all the chemicals and tools in a salon environment, we ask that children under the age of 12 be attended at all times by a guardian and that they remain in the reception area while not receiving services. We appreciate your understanding, as our client’s safety is our top priority.

Pets
Only service dogs and small dogs (10 to 20 pounds) are allowed in the salon. Dogs must be in leash and in contact with their owners at all times.

Health history
For your comfort and safety, please notify your stylist if you have allergies, any physical issues or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during the treatment, please alert the stylist immediately.

Covid-19 safety
I, the client, acknowledge the contagious nature of covid-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I and/or my child(ren) may be exposed to or infected by covid-19 as a result of using the facilities, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by covid-19 while using the facilities may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and/or my child(ren) and others, including, but not limited to, the hair lab’s employees and other clients and visitors.

Right to refuse service
Our salon staff has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health that may influence the effects of the service.

Service dissatisfaction
In the case of any dissatisfaction with a service you have received, we are happy to provide to you the opportunity to return to the salon for us to resolve the issue. Our dissatisfaction policy is that you must call us within seven (7) business days of the original service date and that the issue be resolved by the same stylist who provided the service. There are no refunds on any service.
We are not liable for damage to personal items and clothes so please come dressed accordingly.

Video surveillance
By attending our salon, guests consent to the surveillance cameras and their recording and viewing which may occur 24/7 in the public areas of our salon for safety and security reasons. If you do not consent to video surveillance, you are not permitted to enter our salon.

Accepted Payment Types
We accept cash, Zelle, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Contactless payments, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay are also accepted.
We add a 3% service fee to all credit/ debit card and contactless payments.
